Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"It's not cheap, but you're eating in a café in Paris in the stylish pedestrian street that has boutiques from Chanel and Dior, so just enjoy. Food was pretty good, the steak tartare offered better value than the petit filet, which lived up to its billing. Chips and salad good. Service was efficient."
"A quiet and cozy café-restaurant, in a courtyard with some shops. You can eat on the terrace, inside on the first floor or on the second floor. We got to the quiet second floor. We enjoyed hot cocoa served in a silver jug and delicious warm chocolate cake and eclairs. The service was excellent. We will come here again. Highly recommended."
"Beautiful place hidden in a cute little nook just off the madeleine. Perfect place for a coffee and dessert during your walk in downtown Paris. A little bit on the expensive side but overall worth it."
"We dropped in for drinks one evening and regretted not being early enough for food. An error we rectified the following evening. Good quality food, a lovely atmosphere and delightful service. It’s the perfect place for drinks or an early supper - beware though - they close at 8:30 as a result of the gates of the shopping Mall being locked. Final shout out to the manager who sprinted up the road to re-unite my wife and her phone. We’d managed to get quite a distance before he noticed and it would have been very easy for him to give in. He didn’t and we will be eternally grateful."
"One of my favorite lunch spots in the city. Next to all the big fashion houses. Le Village has an amazing Tuna tartar as well as an artichoke salad. The Steak tartar is also another favorite of mine. Cool vibe and great place for people watching."
"Awesome place with great food and pretty much the only place with good service we experienced in 3 days in paris. Chich and trendy decor, nested in a cute arcade between the Dior and Chanel store, Well thought out and presented dishes, encompassing a range of tastes and flavours from around the world. They were also very accommodating with our 4 year old and made a dish for her that wasn't on the menu. Not cheap but it is what it is."
"We stopped here by chance & it’s with no doubt one of the best restaurants! We were a bit hungry & ordered 2 appetizers & one main dish. The coconut soup is so good and the spring rolls is different than any other spring rolls in the world! I tried a lot but they know how to make the best the shrimp risotto is another level! For dessert we got the chocolate eclair & let me tell you it’s lighter than air Highly recommend this place The service is top notch and the place itself is cozy We came here again before leaving Paris, we had the same appetizers but changed the main & the dessert. For main we had pasta & for dessert we had the cheesecake yum the best cheesecake"
"This was a random spot we stopped by between Dior and Chanel. Overall, the food wasn’t bad. I especially enjoyed the avocado tuna and the carpaccio de bœuf. I wasn’t a big fan of the beef tartare, which tasted a bit bland to me. The waiter was friendly and the place was nice too."
